Talking Velocity 2.0 with Atlona at ISE 2020

Matt Scott joins Atlona’s Reto Sporri to discuss what’s new in Velocity 2.0, the company’s IP-enabled platform for AV control, room scheduling, and asset management.

Velocity 2.0 simplifies as well as adds many new features, including the AT-VSP-800 8in. room scheduling and AV control touch panel and a software upgrade that allows for control of up to 250 rooms.

“We also added asset management,” says Sporri. “Before we had two separate systems and we needed two separate boxes to do that. Now on the one system, which we call the Velocity Gateway, they can now configure room control or AV control, But it’s not just limited to AV. We also show some building information like shades and lights and HVAC, and in the same place they will have their AMS, which is their assets management system, where they can control all of their devices.”
