PlanIt AV debuts AV asset management budget planning tool

PlanIt AV’s easy-to-use interface allows users to enter information about equipment in each room, such as original AV install date, equipment cost, and expected useful life

PlanIt AV has debuted its cloud-based AV asset management and lifecycle project budget planning tool.

Designed to simplify AV asset management for corporations, educational institutions and places of worship, PlanIt AV is a proactive planning tool that allows tech managers to create multi-year project budgets for their conference rooms and AV equipment.

PlanIt AV product features include:

  • AV Asset Management – organizes all AV inventory and stores pertinent documentation to speed up trouble shooting and get systems back on line quickly.
  • Lifecycle Project Budget – keeps systems up-to-date by creating multi-year capital plans for consistent year over year spending.

PlanIt AV’s easy-to-use interface allows users to enter information about equipment in each room, such as original AV install date, equipment cost, and expected useful life. Users can also upload photos, manuals, architectural and engineering drawings and other documentation to create a robust database of their AV systems.

With this information, users then develop multi-year project plans that identify when systems need to be updated and the expected annual capital AV budget.

“Not only does PlanIt AV help you plan AV refreshes, it keeps all equipment specifics in one place, accessible from anywhere,” said Brian Rolston, president of PlanIt AV. “Once you enter the details, you can easily search for the information you need. Now you know what equipment was installed, when it was installed, who installed it and where drawings and manuals are.”

PlanIt AV was introduced at InfoComm 2019 and recognized by AV Technology magazine with a Best of Show award. Plans start at $12 per month.
