WAKEFIELD, R.I. – Caster Communications, Inc., an award-winning tech public relations and social media firm, is pleased to announce the promotions of two of its senior team members, Alexandra Gil and Peter Girard, to Director of Account Services.
Throughout her five-year tenure at Caster, Alex Gil has managed and developed programs for a range of B2B and B2C clients including public companies, startups, alliances, and events. From grassroots social programs to investor focused communication programs, Gil has steered numerous start-ups through multiple series of funding rounds and executive media preparedness. Girard is an eight-year Caster veteran and started his public relations career at the agency. Managing a number of the agency’s large consumer technology clients and growing the account services team, he has contributed to Caster’s growth year-over-year by delivering highly successful brand building and social media campaigns that delivered beyond client expectations.
Over the last year, both Caster’s client roster and team have evolved; the agency closed a number of new accounts including Crestron Electronics, Knowles Corporation, and The Nice Group, and added six new team members located across the east coast in addition to the RI office. “This growth, coupled with a scaled remote team and global client base, emphasized our need for additional senior leadership,” stated Caster founder and president, Kimberly Lancaster. “Caster fosters a close-knit and supportive team culture, but it takes strong, compassionate and committed leaders, which Alex and Pete embrace and emulate. They are impressive PR professionals and will continue to help Caster, and our clients, succeed.”
With a full-service PR offering comprised of media relations, crisis communications, social media, content creation, and consulting across a diverse range of technology clients, Caster knows it takes seasoned leaders to help both clients and employees grow, tackle new projects, and succeed in today’s competitive landscape.
“This is an exciting time for Caster,” said Alex. “We are growing rapidly and have a diverse and incredibly interesting client base who are driving real change in their prospective markets. I’m thrilled to continue to learn and grow in my new role at Caster to serve as a mentor and leader to both our clients and the Caster team.”
“I’ve been fortunate enough to see our team at Caster grow and then grow some more during my tenure here and I’m proud to be part of the expansion that we’re experiencing now. I look forward to working closely with my team and clients as we go to the next level together,” said Pete.
As Director of Account Services, both Alex and Pete will continue working closely with clients to build and execute programs, as well as oversee and guide the rest of the account services team at Caster.
