Bringing Fiber To MaxColor
We are in Barcelona, covering Integrated Systems Europe 2023. The show takes place from January 31st to February 3rd, and we are discovering all of the latest innovations within the AV space. Today we talk to Just Add Power’s CEO Edwin Qualls about their latest solutions and how they are ahead of the curve in the midst of supply chain issues.
One part of the lasting stance of Just Add Power’s solutions are the emphasis on sustainability. Even second generation transmitters are still viable thanks to firmware updates.
Qualls states, “A lot of companies like to make disposable products, but if a customer bought a system from us in 2010, they can add the latest and greatest things you see today and they don’t have to throw anything away.” Longevity is a major tenet of Just Add Power to address the supply chain issues and still have product available for consumers.
In addition, the company has announced two new entries into the MaxColor 4K60 series. In addition to traditional copper, these models support fiber and USB respectively. These solutions came about as a requirement from a client to run copper and another source simultaneously.
