AJA has introduced the OG-FiDO-4, a new family of openGear-compatible cards designed to transport 12G-SDI and 3G-SDI signals over LC fiber. Available in nine models, the cards provide four independent conversion channels, allowing different SDI rates to run simultaneously while maintaining uncompressed signal transport and signal integrity.
Built for broadcast, live production, and professional AV environments, OG-FiDO-4 supports HDR, SDI metadata pass-through, automatic signal detection and reclocking, and centralized monitoring through DashBoard software. Its high-density design can support up to 40 channels in an openGear frame, while hot-swappable operation and compatibility with AJA FIBERLC modules make it easier to deploy and maintain.
AJA Video Systems today unveiled OG-FiDO-4, a new family of openGear-compatible cards offering four channels of conversion between 12G-/3G-SDI and fiber. With nine different models, the OG-FiDO-4 family enables reliable, uncompressed SDI transport over LC fiber and includes DashBoard software support for centralized monitoring. The technology will be demonstrated September 11-14 during IBC in Amsterdam at the RAI, stand 7.B25.
