Lamp-free projectors in digital signage for lower total cost of ownership
According to Casio’s Wayne Borg, their line of laser and LED light source projection is a good fit for digital signage applications. The projectors maintenance is lower than a lamp-based light source because there is no lamp to replace.
Casio was demonstrating short-throw on glass, smaller form factors for hard to get to mounting areas, as well as high-brightness projectors to overcome ambient light.
