ATEN Expands Network Control Options; Allows for mixing of inputs and outputs

Booth 1668 – ATEN is known for their advanced signal distribution technologies and global management platforms, and they did not disappoint! YT Liang at ATEN explains to AV Nation’s Tim Albright that their matrix solution allows not only for switching, but also for easy management of a video wall. Different input and output cards offer functionality and ease of use, with 32 modules available. The 4×4 video wall ATEN is showing is supported by their 32×32 modular video matrix. There is also a 4K 2×2 digital signage display supported by AV over IP. Both landscape and portrait solutions are on display. Liang tells AV Nation that they wanted to showcase the extreme versatility of their system within many possible enterprise environments.

ATEN’s AV over IP solutions uses 1 gig technology, meaning it’s highly expandable while minimizing the need for additional cabling. On the switchers, push button technology simplifies the interface. For conferencing, quality of streaming is impacted by ATEN’s switching technologies with a wall mounted or tablet controlled interface. All of their solutions are run through ATEN’s control system, allowing for mixing of sources and outputs. With educational sessions that highlighted sports bars using over IP solutions, ATEN is able to actively demonstrate in a session the practical application of their product range.
