From the InfoComm 2022 show floor in Las Vegas, AVNation’s Rich Fregosa is joined by Michael Peveler, the Vice President of Sales at AtlasIED. Michael and his team are happy to be back for an in-person show in the States, especially as AtlasIED has several newly launched products in-stock and ready to ship.
One such product is Atmosphere, found at their booth, which is designed for hospitality and retail. Already being used by large gym and retail chains, AtlasIED’s latest firmware update offers something that many companies have been asking for: third party control, making Atmosphere compatible with the industry’s most well known control modules—Crestron, AMX, and Extron.
Atmosphere is designed for ease of use, and actually includes built-in training content solutions. These come in the form of two to three minute videos incorporated in the “Help” section, so installers in the field can avoid a phone call and instead watch the process up close.
The product is also built for a variety of interfaces depending on a customer’s needs and feedback. Its unique dashboard allows users to become their own help desk—though the software was originally intended for hospitality and retail, in 2020, school systems requested a bell scheduling capability to help replace aging PA systems. Because AltasIED has so much power built in from a hardware standpoint, they are able to adapt quickly and create new, original interfaces and features for consumers. From built-in WiFi to a full speaker layout, Atmosphere delivers an all-in-one design customized for users in a variety of industries.
