Samsung Streamlines Video Wall Installation with All-In-One Solution

Get your video wall quickly

Video walls have become increasingly popular for both corporate and entertainment venues, providing immersive visual experiences. However, installation has traditionally been a lengthy, labor-intensive process spanning 3-5 days. Samsung’s new All-In-One video wall aims to simplify and accelerate deployments.

AVNation’s Tim Albright spoke with Dave Hutton from Samsung at the recent CTI National Sales meeting to learn more about this innovative product. As Dave explained, the market is shifting away from custom LED configurations toward standardized plug-and-play solutions that can be installed in under a day.

Samsung’s All-In-One video wall comes in set configurations, with four models currently available. It ships fully assembled in one piece, without the need for extensive field assembly. Installers simply mount it, connect cables, snap in panels, and slide in boards. The whole process now takes only 3-4 hours, compared to 3-5 days previously.

Free Up the Room

For end users, this means rooms become usable almost immediately instead of sitting inactive for nearly a week. For AV integration firms, technicians can take on more jobs consecutively rather than dedicating teams to single lengthy deployments. It’s a major efficiency gain for both parties.

Dave explained there are cost savings too – with quicker installs requiring fewer man-hours onsite, labor expenses are slashed. And despite the acceleration, All-In-One walls still only need a two-person crew.

The simplified approach does not sacrifice quality or longevity either. While traditional video walls averaged 40,000 hours before replacement, Samsung’s All-In-One achieves over 100,000 hours. And the product neatly matches prevailing resolution standards, with three 2K models and one 4K configuration available.

Video Walls for All

But Dave emphasized the All-In-One isn’t intended as a wholesale replacement for bespoke solutions. Custom LED designs will still prevail for some premium rooms. However, for everyday applications like boardrooms, training spaces, lobbies etc., the All-In-One offers an optimal turnkey package. And continued innovations around miniaturization and commoditization will only expand its cost and capability envelope moving forward.

For firms interested in simplifying their video wall deployments, Samsung’s All-In-One solution presents an appealing option. A quick installation process paired with compelling picture performance, long operational lifespan, and economical pricing make it a strong fit for a wide variety of applications.
