Former AVT Europe editor joins team
Bees Buzz Public Relations – the communications and PR agency who operate solely in the pro AV arena – has appointed former AV Technology EU editor Michael Garwood as Content Director.
The move reinforces Bees Buzz’ intention to deliver the best PR service in the business, following US industry stalwart Margot Douaihy joining the UK agency last year. Michael’s role will see him creating dynamic content for Bees Buzz established client base, which includes B-Tech AV Mounts, Datapath and Kramer Electronics.
Managing Director Stuart Hillis said: “We are thrilled to be able to announce this high-profile, full-time appointment. Mike has a strong history in AV and technology media, having more than 10 years as a respected technology journalist. As founding editor of AV Technology, we believe we have acquired the best possible hire as Bees Buzz continues to expand.”
Stuart adds: “We pride ourselves in delivering the best possible PR service for our clients. To do this, we aim for the best team in the industry. This appointment goes a long way in achieving these goals.”
Michael said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Bees Buzz and continuing to be part of this fantastic industry. Since day one of launching AV Technology Europe, I have had immense admiration for the way in which Bees Buzz conducts itself in the market by supporting its clients through providing first-class, informative information to its customers and the wider industry. I’m buzzing to get started and look forward to playing a key role in their continued growth.”
