CEDIA is coming back to the physical space with CEDIA Expo 2021 happening at the Indiana Convention Center September 1-3. It will house all manner of companies, manufacturers and more pertaining to the residential side of the AV industry. In addition, there will be a plethora of shows, classes and seminars. One such show is called “Platform Playground: Shaping the Future of the Smart Home & Where Protocols Face Opportunities and Challenges.” We talk with one of the speakers, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Z-Wave Alliance Mitchell Klein about the different facets of the Internet of Things space, the different alliances and standards that make up IoT, and more.
