As part of our continued coverage of CEDIA Expo 2021, Tim Albright chats with Blonder Tongue. The US-based telecommunication manufacturers brings cost effective media solutions to their customer. Blonder Tongue has produced numerous video processing solutions for over 70 years. Now, they are slowly focusing on data processing and distribution for multi-dwelling units.
“We wanted to see where are there other places in the marketplace… where can we be finding some other avenues that people can take advantage of this technology,” said Ted Grauch, CEO and President of Blonder Tongue.
Blonder Tongue showcased new IP solutions for multi dwelling units at CEDIA Expo. One of those products in particular being the Aircaster AQT8. The updated device can create a full lineup of up to 64 channels and distribute them throughout numerous large complexes.
“CEDIA members can take advantage of the fact that with a single unit, you can pull down in most municipalities around the country every off-air channel, essentially for free,” Grauch said.
