Maverick distribution unveils network of Smart Meeting centres worldwide

Spaces across Canada, Europe give Maverick connectivity

Maverick AV Solutions, a specialised solution business of Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD), has unveiled its portfolio of Smart Meeting Experience Centres in eighteen offices across Europe, US, Canada and Australia, featuring the latest in collaboration and future workplace technology.

This move gives the specialist AV distributor a global network of environments to showcase display, audio, connectivity and conferencing solutions working on platforms and in standalone, agnostic modes. The environments have been designed for channel partners and their clients to experience, first hand, the impact of great technology on people, workplace process and workspaces themselves, with an extensive calendar of activities such as training, events and proof-of-concept demonstrations will take place.

The spaces feature the latest products from Microsoft, Barco, Logitech, Avocor, Zoom, Vision, Huddly and many other leading smart meeting brands.  Every room features a newly launched Microsoft Surface Hub 2S, complete with Steelcase mobile stand and APC battery as well as Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) technology from Logitech, Lenovo and HP, as well as the marketing leading collaboration tools from Barco with Clickshare. Windows Collaboration Displays (WCD) will also feature heavily in the spaces, showcasing the latest innovations from Sharp and Avocor for displays which enable the user to create a rapid connected meeting, using their preferred platform, accessing their device via USB-C.

The demonstration suites can be found in Spain (Madrid and Barcelona), Italy, UK, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, US, Canada, Portugal, Australia, Austria, Switzerland, France, Netherlands and Belgium. Each one can be booked for exclusive demonstrations or training and will host a series of events, after work networking and manufacturer one-to-ones to give integrators the chance to test products and experience how smart meetings will develop in the future.

Jane Hammersley, Global collaboration lead for Maverick AV Solutions explains;

“This is a pivotal time for both innovation and standardisation in meeting spaces. Users expect a seamless, ‘walk up and use’ conferencing experience, whilst organisations crave security and efficiencies from their meeting spaces. Technology is a large part of the solutions shown by Maverick in these amazing facilities, complimented by software, meeting space analytics, deployment and training services. This is part of our global Smart Meetings strategy, meaning that we can support our channel partners with connected demonstrations, and support the pre-sales motion aggregating products to deliver complete environments across 18 countries.”
