On the show floor of InfoComm 2024 AMX showed off their new NMX-DEC-N2622S decoder. Typically known for using SVSi video encoding technology, AMX is expanding into Dante AV. The NMX-DEC can decode both SVSi as well as Dante AV signals. The specs on the new NMX 2600 series is about what we’ve come to expect from any AV over IP product. The 4:4:4 chroma sampling and 4K 60 resolution support means you can put nearly any signal into the device.
